What we do

Water, mold and the AC system that spreads it

Where there is water, mold follows, and in Florida it often ends up in the AC. We handle all of it, so you never have to coordinate a second company.

Mold remediation

We physically remove mold and the materials it has damaged, then clean and dry the area. No biocides sprayed in your home.

  • Moisture source found and stopped
  • Containment so spores don't spread
  • Removal of moldy drywall, insulation and carpet pad
  • HEPA vacuuming and cleaning

Water damage restoration

Leaks, AC drips, roof leaks and storm flooding. We dry what can be saved, remove what can't, and put your home back together.

  • 24/7 emergency response
  • Drying with air movers and dehumidifiers
  • Tear-out of wet and contaminated materials
  • Rebuild: drywall, flooring, trim and paint

AC & air duct mold

Mold in vents and ductwork is common in Florida's humidity. We remove mold around vents and air handlers, and when ducts are too far gone, we coordinate full duct replacement with our trusted licensed AC partner.

  • Vents, registers and air handler areas
  • Source of the moisture found and fixed
  • Full duct replacement through our licensed AC partner

Our work

Flooded, then mold. Remediated and fully rebuilt.

Two Naples homes we brought back from flood damage and the mold that followed: water out, mold removed, and the kitchens rebuilt from the studs.

Leak detection

We find what you can't see

Leaking windows, slow plumbing leaks and AC condensation can hide inside walls for months. We track them down with professional detection equipment, not guesswork.

Moisture meters

Two types, to measure moisture in drywall, wood and subfloors and map exactly how far water has spread.

Thermal imaging cameras

Show temperature differences that reveal wet areas behind walls and ceilings without opening them up.

Borescope cameras

A small camera through a tiny hole lets us look inside wall cavities before anything is torn out.

Hygrometers

Measure humidity in the air, so we know when a room is truly dry and mold won't come back.

Water in your home

The clock starts when the water does

The longer water sits, the dirtier it gets, the deeper it soaks in, and the more has to be torn out. The EPA's guidance is to dry wet materials within 24 to 48 hours to prevent mold.

First hours

Water wicks up drywall and into wood, insulation and carpet pad. Bacteria can begin multiplying.

24 to 48 hours

The window for drying wet materials to prevent mold. Inside it, much can often be saved.

About 3 days

In warm, humid conditions some molds can start colonizing wet materials. Florida heat speeds this up.

Days to weeks

Clean water turns dirty as it sits, and everything it touched has to come out.

Why wet materials have to come out

Some materials can't be dried in time or cleaned once soaked. EPA guidance calls for replacing wet ceiling tiles and insulation, and drywall that has swollen or opened at the seams. Left in place, they trap moisture inside the walls.

Flood and storm water is different

Rising river or surface water, sewage backups and hurricane-driven rain are treated as grossly contaminated from the start under the industry's IICRC standard. Everything they soaked needs professional removal and cleaning.

Your health

How living with mold can affect your family and pets

The CDC, EPA and World Health Organization all link damp, moldy homes to health problems. Mold releases spores and allergens into the air, and it can irritate people with or without allergies.

Allergy symptoms

Sneezing, runny or stuffy nose, red or itchy eyes, skin rash.

Irritation

Sore throat, burning eyes, irritation of the nose, skin and lungs.

Breathing problems

Coughing, wheezing, and asthma attacks in people with asthma.

More frequent illness

The WHO links damp, moldy buildings to more respiratory infections.

Pet health

Your pets breathe it too

Dogs and cats spend their days close to the floor, in the same air and on the same surfaces as the mold. Veterinary sources report that mold exposure can cause in pets:

  • Coughing, sneezing, wheezing and nasal discharge
  • Low energy
  • Itching, licking and chewing from a mold allergy

Flat-faced breeds like Fred, along with pugs and Boston terriers, already have narrowed airways, so anything that irritates breathing can hit them harder. If your pet has symptoms, see your vet.

General education, not medical advice. Anyone with ongoing symptoms should see their doctor or vet. Sources: CDC, EPA, WHO guidelines summary, PetMD, UF Small Animal Hospital.

Clean · Green · No biocides

We remove mold.
We don't spray poison on it.

That matches EPA guidance, which advises against using bleach or other biocides as a routine part of mold cleanup.

Questions to ask any mold company

What chemicals will you spray in my home? Will you remove the moldy materials or treat them in place? How will you find and fix the moisture source?

  • Dead mold still makes people reactThe EPA notes that killed mold can still cause allergic reactions, so it has to be physically removed.
  • No chemical residueNothing left on the surfaces your family and pets touch and breathe around.
  • No fumes to air outChemical treatments need ventilation. Our approach avoids them.
  • It fixes the causeSpraying treats a symptom. We stop the moisture, remove what's contaminated, clean and dry.

How we do it

Seven steps from wet to rebuilt

  1. Inspect and find the water

Moisture meters, thermal imaging and borescope cameras trace the source and map how far the damage goes, inside walls and under floors.

  2. Contain the area

Plastic barriers and filtered air keep spores out of the clean parts of the house.

  3. Remove what can't be saved

Wet or moldy drywall, insulation and carpet pad come out and are bagged for disposal.

  4. Clean without biocides

Surfaces are HEPA-vacuumed and cleaned to physically remove mold.

  5. Dry it out

Air movers and dehumidifiers bring the structure back to normal moisture levels.

  6. Verify

We check moisture levels again before anything is closed up.

  7. Rebuild

As a licensed building contractor, we put it back: drywall, flooring, trim and paint.

Warning signs

Call us if you notice any of these

Mold often grows inside walls and under floors long before a spot shows. These are the clues that something is going on.
